- "I just wanted to say a huge thanks for all your help with our filming trip to Sitka....The Alaska episode which featured the sea lions and herring has turned into a fantastic episode, helped in no small amount by the shots that we filmed with your help around Sitka....You were a fantastic help both in the run up and during the trip, always in good humour and willing to go the extra mile to try and find the sea lions for us--often literally!....I hope that our paths cross again...but until then, I hope you're well and wish you all the best.
Ed Charles, BBC Natural History Unit
- "Although our trip to Sitka was filled with many "firsts" for our family, fishing with you will be one of our best memories. Thank you for your kind and thorough instruction, generosity and expertise."

- "It was hard...but we finally got on that plane for home. Having such a beautiful morning and watching Kent standing idle waiting for his clients didn't make it very easy leaving. So fish are tucked away in the freezer, bags are unpacked, have spent 9 hours reprogramming my brain for life in the office...but still not sure my spirit accompanied me home!! If you run across it somewhere, just keep it until our next trip to Sitka. Thanks to you both again for another memorable trip. You are the best!!!"
Roberta Miller, Electric City, WA

- "First a few lines to thank you very much for working so hard for us. You sure did one hell of a good job for us despite the negative conditions that you had to put up with like people getting seasick."
Bruce Parsons, Gig Harbor, WA
.
- "This is better than Oz!!"
Anita Skeen, Wichita, KS

- Even now, 3 months later, I look back with a great deal of satisfaction on the time we spent with you folks. Hopefully, Kent still has enough patience to take us back on board some time in the near future. I have nothing but the best to say about our experience."
Gus James, California

- "Kent, I take my hat off to you and your skill as a charter boat captain, but more importantly is your patience in dealing with total and complete novices. The experience of catching the king salmon was a thrill I will never forget. I'm sure Justin's experience of catching a king salmon was one that Kent is trying to forget, it was at this point that Kent exhibited the highest level of patience known to man. Bev, thanks [for] your attention to detail. We have thoroughly enjoyed preparing the fish which is so fresh that it is almost impossible to mess it up."
Greg Cummings, TX

- "I hope you remember us. I received a survey from the AK Sport Fish Division. They asked for 1)what kind of fish were caught where, 2)how many of each kind were caught, and 3)how many were kept. HELP. I thought we just went out on the water where the fish were, threw out our lines, let the fish bite them, and whatever bit and hung on, we pulled up into the boat. But, there's not a place on the form to tell them that. By the way, I'm still eating filets and every one has been absolutely wonderful. You can really sling a blade on a fish to make the bones disappear. Thanks again for one of the most memorable days of my life, and I'm sure I speak for the rest of our group."

- "Pat and I wanted to thank you again for a wonderful exciting cruise yesterday. We appreciate your efforts in helping us find the whales and puffins. Looked at the pictures last night and got excited all over again. You are the best captain ever."
Chris and Pat Gosen, Tallahassee FL

- "Just a note to let you know again how much we enjoyed our fishing with you. You are such a gentleman and so skilled at what you do. Seeing the eagle dive for the herring, the many whales and birds was more than we bargained for. I would say that you are indeed a very part of nature itself. Maybe that's why nature was so responsive and good to us. We're already planning a trip to Sitka next year with our son and his wife. To be in your presence, fish or no fish, is a privilege."
Bob and Bobbie, Dallas, TX
.
- "Fantastic!!! Take good care of that eagle."
Jeri Prinkey, Hudson, NY

- "Hi! Back from Alaska and the photos are telling the tales. We've got to go on vacation more often. Fishing in Sitka was a blast with Captain Kent Hall. The halibut and rockfish were biting everywhere (at this secret location) - this lucky fish was release."
Becky, Ft Lauderdale, FL

- I am writing to say thankyou from Will [age 5] and me for taking us out whalewatching and more. It was above and beyond the call of duty for sure... He and his brother Sam [age 3] spend a portion of each day still "whalewatching" from "Kent's boat," which is actually Sam's bed. Will is always Kent. Thank you."
Kate & Will Ryan, Charlottesville VA

- "We are back [home] and had some really great salmon with our eggs this morning. Just wanted to thank both of you for the great service. Our time with you was most enjoyable. Thanks Kent...and don't tell my wife I even said this, but I am really grateful I got the bigger fish. Thank you Beverly for making sure our fish got processed and delivered, without you, no breakfast!"
David, Washington

- "The experience was indescribable. A big "Aussie" Thank You!"
Pauline Richards, Sydney, Australia
